This three-hour, six-week interactive workshop takes place over eight weeks and allows students to participate in the Hollywood storytelling process from exploring the basic concept to organizing an outline and on to the meticulous final draft of a script. On the first night, as a class, we will select an idea and each week following, we work together using tried and true Hollywood methods, to develop the ideas characters, themes and settings into a meaningful, visual story.

Between classes, students are encouraged to apply the same techniques to their own screenplays so that when the course is over, not only will they have been able to watch how the collective process works, they will be well on their way to creating a screenplay of their own. Your instructor will also work with and be available to you to discuss your screenplay as it moves forward and each writer will be teamed up with another individual to serve as a sounding board for ideas and critique from week to week.

Each course comes with notes on writer’s outlines and first draft. For an additional fee, instructors will be available to discuss each phase of the process individually, outside of class.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
